Sarah Hess

Licensed marriage & family therapist, perinatal mental health certified, certified advanced grief counselor, Gottman Bringing Baby Educator, & Certified RETAIN Parental Leave Coach.

Sarah Hess is the owner and Founder of Nurture Wellness PLLC which began as a solo practice and has grown into a small group practice. She has 11 years of clinical experience in non-profit work and private practice as both a supervisor and a practicing clinician. Sarah is currently practicing in the Wilmington, North Carolina, area and services the entire state of North Carolina.

Her professional experience and education include the states of Arizona and North Carolina, having begun her training at Arizona State University. Sarah has been locally awarded as the 2021, 2022 and 2023 “Family Favorite Counselor” by Wilmington Parent Magazine and has been awarded at a state level by the North Carolina Association for Marriage and Family Therapy as their 2022 recipient of the “Distinguished Service to Families” Award.

Sarah can be found on Instagram as @insessionwithsarah. She has recently authored emotional affirmation coloring pages that are making a positive difference in elementary classrooms in local school districts in Brunswick County, NC.

Sarah is a Clinical Fellow and a Professional Member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapy (AAMFT) is a member of the North Carolina Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (NCAMFT) and is a member of Postpartum Support International (PSI).

Sarah has been featured in WILMA magazine, Voyage Raleigh Magazine, Canvas Rebel Magazine, and on WECT News. She speaks in a professional capacity and presented as a breakout speaker at the 2023 NCAMFT state conference.

Taylor Guill

MS, LCMHCA, NCC, LPSC

Taylor has a Master of Science, and is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, Nationally Certified Counselor, and Licensed Professional School Counselor.

Taylor attended Indiana University for her undergraduate studies, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. Taylor completed her Master’s Degree at East Carolina University with specializations in clinical mental health counseling and school counseling in 2023.

Taylor has experience working with adolescents in both the school setting and clinical outpatient settings. Her primary focus is with adolescents and young adults coping with the transitions of life changes.
